Population Growth

Hi everyone,
The most important thing to resolve any problem is recognize the consequences of it. Therefore, I am really optimistic that people will find solutions to control the population growth whether in industrial nation or emerging nations.
However, we have to be more careful and give more concern about next generations. If population growth still continues that means we suffer from lack of food, water, space for people. Governments have to play their roles to avoid this problem. Also, public awareness of how serious this problem will help as well. Balancing the number of people in all the worlds’ parts is the most important thing should be done. For example, industrial nations should allow people from other poor countries to immigrate. In emerging nations, the birth rate has to be at or below 4 children per woman.

  2. Ha ha. I’m pessimistic about the population expansion so far. However I am happy that hear someone is optimistic to the situation. I think the condition is very bad so far; nevertheless, I do believe that humans can work with it and figure out some solutions together.

  3. I dont think that 4 children per woman, even in the emerging nation is a good idea. It's really too much. According to me, 2 children per woman is enough, because they can have time to take care them good and become the good people for society. :)

  4. Khalid....you are always bringing out good ideas. It is a problem that is difficult to solve, however a solution will be found. Your solution is not a bad idea. Immigrating people from other countries is a great idea I find, and a humanitarian one also. I think so because, first you are making these peoples life better, and living in a multicultural society, we can also learn from them. As Mohammed said, a promotion of culture where having children is a good way to keep the population growth in an industrial world.
